Great service and will help and order in and supply parts
Had an old Suzuki 300cc quad bike with a lot of hours, in for a service and repairs. It ended up needing a top end rebuild amongst other things. The repairs were carried out and we got the bike back after just over 2 weeks. Because they had to wait for parts from a supplier in Toowoomba. When we got the bike home we noticed a problem, and we contacted the shop where we were ask to bring the bike back. After further inspection it turned out that some work needed to be done on the bottom end. This work was carried out without fuss from the Stihl Shop. However we did have to wait a crazy length of time for parts from their Toowoomba supplier again. We got the bike back and everything was sorted. Great job. The team at The Stihl Shop Esk were great to deal with, and they were more than happy to take the bike back and sort the other problem out. I only gave 4 star because of the wait time for the parts from Toowoomba. Apparently they said the parts were on the shelf, but it still took a long time to send them down the range. You guys may want to talk to your supplier up in Toowoomba. Thanks guys.
Good affordable service
Myself n another customer had to wait wat felt like a lifetime... probably a good 10-15 minutes while young Oldmate finished having his chat outside to people... The Boss Man was out the back looking for something for other customers.. I walked around the shop a few times.. they do have alot of stock.. mostly "STIHL" as expected but lots of other bits n pieces that always come in handy wen u need them.. the service was good wen I was served but I was shocked by the price for half a metre of fuel line $7.50.. maybe I'm out of touch with prices now days... or maybe they are the only store in town that carry that product.. I'm glad I was reimbursed!!
Where do I start. The shop is disorganized and dysfunctional. Propitiatory line items aren't priced, so everything has to be looked up on their computer system, then they have to print off an invoice, even for the average Joe. Talk about slow. Now lets talk about their workmanship!!! Firstly i had them come to my home to look at my ride on, while there, disassembling it, the mechanic brakes the oil dipstick and I have to buy a replacement adding $30 to the bill. Now I went to use a petrol blower vac my wife put in for repairs months ago. I finally got around to using it today, first time since repairs, and after 5 mins, the handle starts to melt off, the casing is blacking and almost ready to catch fire! So i pull off the muffler casing to find the muffler loose and when i removed it, they had put a heat shield gasket on backwards, 3/4 blocking the exhaust port sending very hot fumes into the plastic covers almost destroying it. Its not a cheapy being a husqvarna. So in closing, if you want second rate repairs and slow service, by all means Id recommend using these clowns!!!
