Amazing view, can see Lake Wivenhoe from the top on a good day, great spot for a picnic
The name implies there is a lake to view... This is true but not much of a view the lake can be seen through the trees as a thin blue line almost on the horizon.There are several picnic tables distributed throughout the park, some undercover and others in the open. The resident magpie population are very friendly and can be cheeky trying to take food from your picnic, I saw no signs of aggression only curiosityThis is a very dry park with no barbeques or toilet facilities.
